Appointment Companions

Provide companionship and lend a steady hand. Appointment Companions accompany older adults who are frail or have mobility issues as they travel to and from the doctor, other important appointments, and even cultural events.

Volunteers for this program agree to be on a call list, and can accept or decline any request. They receive appropriate training as well as ongoing support and advice.
